Lightning strike harms transformer upsetting force supply to Sindhuli towns
Sindhuli, April 15 (RSS): A lightning strike on a transformer has upset power supply to different towns in the region for as far back as three days, driving local people to live in dim.
The 1500kv transformer at a substation of Sindhuli branch of the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has been harmed in the lightning strike. Thus, four rustic regions—Marin provincial district, Sunkoshi country region, Golanjor country region, tinpatan country region—and some piece of Kamalamai Municipality are without power.
The influenced local people are denied of utilizing electric apparatuses and machines like rice sheller, charging cell phones and other electric types of gear.
Head of the NEA branch Lila Nath Aryal said endeavors were on to settle the issue, including that it would take some more days to repair harmed transformer.
