Three arrested with opium
Three persons were arrested on Monday in possession of contraband drug opium from Dang.
According to District Police Office Dang's Superintendent of Police (SP) Durga Singh, Shaktiram Bali, 31, of Pachawang – 7 Rolpa and currently living at Ghorahi Sub Metropolis, Elan Kumar Roka Magar, 27, of Bhume rural municipality – 8 of Rukum and Dev Bahadur Oli, 28, of Bhume rural municipality – 6.
Police seized 5 kilos and 200 grams of opium from them. They were arrested by a team dispatched from Province no 5 Police Office, Tulsipur and District Police Office, Dang acting on a special tip off that they were trading opium. Police have launched further investigation into the matter.
