Four young ladies suffocated in a water lake in Lumbini Sanskritik Municipality-11 in Rupandehi today. They suffocated in course of washing up in the Naukhaniya Pond situated in Masina Gadidiya. The Area Police Office, Lumbini affirmed the deplorable passings of young ladies in the mishap. They are distinguished as Abida Khatun, 9, Sahima Khatun, and Mudina Khatun, both 10, and Sahiya Khatun, 14. The young ladies had achieved the normal water lake at around 11:30 am. The lake lies somewhere in the range of four kilometers in west from Lumbini and one kilometer a long way from the adjacent town.
As per neighborhood agent Akaramaddin Khan who saw the occurrence said their endeavors to protect them alive went futile. Individuals including kids from the close-by settlements much of the time visit the lake for washing. The whole town is in misery following the shocking passings of four girls. Until the recording of the report, arrangements were in progress to convey the bodies to Bhairahawa for posthumous examinations. Among the dead, two are cousins. -
