The week by week Bagmati River Clean Up Mega Campaign and different tidiness battle propelled at the neighborhood levels in the Kathmandu Valley proceeded with this Saturday as well. A sum of 33 tons of trash was gathered from different Valley-based streams including Bagmati and the ring street territories. Three tons of waste was gathered from the Bagmati River territory close to the Shantinagar-based VS Niketan School under the 266th seven day stretch of the Mega Campaign.
More than 425 individuals including from the High-Powered Bagmati Civilisation Integrated Development Committee, Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, Nyano Sparsha, Muktinath Development Bank, Reikui, Thakuri Society, and Osho Tapowan joined the battle, one of the members, Naryan Kumar Shrestha said.
In like manner, under the 227th seven day stretch of the Bagmati River Clean Up Mega Campaign above Guheshwori territory, a region underneath the Bagmati River connect at the fringe of Gokarneshwor Municipality-1 and Kageshwor Manohara Municipality-3 was cleaned.
