Human rights activists have arranged a sit-in before the south entryway to Singha Durbar today under the "Spare Gangamaya's Life" crusade.
Gangamaya Adhikari from Phujel, Gorkha region, is on a craving strike calling for activity against the killers of her child, Krishna Prasad Adhikari, who was slaughtered in course of the contention time frame.
Rights activists began the battle from Sunday to apply weight on the administration for securing Gangamaya's life as she has gone on a yearning strike spurning intravenous fluid and even water since Thursday a week ago. She is on an appetite strike throughout the previous six years calling for conveying the enemies of her child to book.
Human rights activists Charan Prasai, Indra Aryal, Suman Adhikari, Krishna Aryal, Shova Maharjan, Sabitri Shrestha and Bhijraj Chapagain among others took an interest in the sit-in.
Gangamaya and her significant other Nanda Prasad Adhikari had begun a quick unto-demise requesting activity against the guilty parties associated with the murder of their child, the 17-year-old Krishna Prasad Adhikari, 12 years back. Nanda Prasad Adhikari kicked the bucket two years back while still on the quick unto-demise and Gangamaya is proceeding with the appetite strike after that.
She has begun the yearning strike at the Bir Hospital itself where she is experiencing treatment, issuing a five-day final proposal to the administration for satisfying her request.
